An event is either:

A player event: Something that a player sets up and has, such as, an RP (although there is a fourm for that), or maybe a meeting.

A GM event: When A GM uses their powers to affect the entire game world. This usually involves mass participating (IE, invading armies, fight them off or be enslaved), but sometimes is optional.

A Sprout event: An event run by me is called a sprout event. Why? Because they're so unpredictible, they need thier own category.
