Post subject: The NEW Daycare RP...
Since BBG has returned from her LOOONG time away, i'm gonna remake the Daycare RP.

Plot: Deep in the Woods of Malfurion, there is a marble building. It is a daycare. Three people live in it, Sprout, the mysterious caretaker, Kinara, a baby that he looks after, and Magema, another child. As people come, and drop their kids off, things begin to happen.... Sprout starts to only show up at night, and a mysterious cloaked figure has been seen around the building.... with a dagger. With the Harvest Festival approaching, and strange things happening, Sprout and the other residents must find the key to the strange occurances... and not be choked by the smell of dirty diapers....

Characters:

Dimentio: The caretaker and mysterious owner of the Daycare. While very shadowy and strange, he is compassionate and caring. He has been destroyed, not turned into a baby. Status is unknown.

Kinara: A baby eevee. Very cute, and has a strange connection with Sprout. Extremely friendly, weary travelers love her keen attitude... and obsession with putting diapers on Sprout. She has a diaper. Her class is Baby.

Mimi: A young girl at the daycare. She possesses psychic abilities and uses them to conjure creatures to assist her and her friends. She had a copper staff and linen robes. Her class is Summoner.

Eravius: A traveller that comes to the daycare to stay for the Harvest Festival. Cool and comprehensible, his relaxed and outgoing attitude makes him the backbone of the group's power. He has a copper wrench. linen robes and apprentice goggles. His class is Engineer.

Blade: Not much is known. All that is known about it is that it showed up shortly before the Shadow Creatures appeared. It is often blamed for bringing the Shadow Creatures upon the daycare. It seems friendly enough though, so it was still let in. He has an Iron Short Sword and Linen Robes. His class is unknown.

SPF5000: She was built in a dark lab for evil purposes but something went wrong now she works/lives at a Daycare. She also has a job making iced foods. She has no equipment. Her class is Ice Cyborg.

Sprout: A mysterious treecko that shows up after Dimentio's dissapearence. Had been afflicted by something, and turns into a baby. He has a diaper. His class is Baby.

Post subject: Daycare Layout
Basically, the daycare has been... enchanted by... something. The rooms are ever-changing, with the exeption of a few "safe" areas that are found near the entrance. These rooms do not shift, and there are no shadow creatures here. These are:

The Entrance: A simple corridor with some chairs where guests wait to sign up. (This is where people who want to join the RP can wait.)

The Lobby: A small room with a desk where people can sign up to stay in the daycare.

The Playroom: The area where the guests sleep and play.

Sprout's Room: A strange room on the top floor of the daycare. Is almost always locked. The key is hidden somewhere...

In addition to these rooms, every time the daycare 'shifts' (during the day when the guests are in the playroom, Kinara or Magema will go and alter the rooms.) the layout will change. There are different types of rooms that can appear, such as:

Hallway: A basic hallway that connects two or more rooms. Shadow Creatures are uncommon here.

Room: An empty room. Shadow Creatures are common here.

Changing Room: A room with changing stations. Shadow Creatures never appear here. Every once in a while, a character with the 'Baby' class will... well, go. Until they are brought here and changed, one person, starting with the one with the lowest stamina in the group exept the babies start to weaken. After going through 10 turns 'weakened' (which makes attack power lower), they will be knocked out. Due to the enchantments on the daycare, they will reawaken 3 turns later as a Baby. They unequip all of their equipment and are equiped with an avalible diaper. The remaining non-babies must fight without them until the find a way to turn them back...

Kitchen: A Kitchen. Shadow Creatures are rare here. When there are no shadow creatures here, food can be made here. Food is needed by all players. It is divided into Baby Foods and Dishes (Adult Foods). When a Baby goes a day without eating (either in the night or the day), they have a permanent dirty diaper (see below) until fed. If an adult goes a day without eating, they are knocked out, and in three turns, are turned into a baby.

Small Playroom: A smaller version of the playroom found near the entrance of the daycare. Shadow Creatures never appear here. When day rises, if there are people not in 'safe' rooms or in a Small Playroom, they are sucked into the walls of the house and one is turned into a Baby. Then, they are transported to the Playroom or Small Playroom with the most members, and given a diaper. These can be used as safespots. When someone is in them, they will not shift, but they will if noone is in them. There are also Changing Stations here. Some, in the deepest parts of the daycare, also have Diaper Dispensers, which give 3 diapers, and then are useless until the next nightfall, but ONLY if they shift.

Garden: An indoor garden. Shadow Creatures sometimes appear here. When there are no Shadow Creatures here, babies can forage for grown plants. Based on the depth of the room in the daycare and how many babies are present, different outcomes can happen:

Nothing: Sometimes, they just find nothing. Sorry!

Common Cloth Plant: The babies find a small cloth plant. The type of plant depends on how deep into the daycare you are. You harvest the meager raw material and can make it into diapers/armors at a Sewing Room later.

Uncommon Cloth Plant: The babies find a matured cloth plant. You harvest the raw material.

Rare Cloth Plant: The babies find a really large cloth plant. You havest the large quantities of raw material.

Common Food Plant: The babies find a small food plant. The type of plant (and the different bonuses it gives) depend on how deep into the daycare you are. You harvest the meager edibles and can process it into baby food or a dish at a kitchen

Uncommon Food Plant: The babies find a matured food plant. You harvest the edibles.

Rare Food Plant: The babies find a really large food plant. You harvest the large quantities of edibles.

Herb: The babies find a strange herb... can be made into potions at an Alchemists lab. The type of herb depends on the depth that you are in the daycare.

Shadow Creature: The babies find a Shadow Creature that you must fight!

Poxweed: The babies find a dangerous Poxweed that infects a random adult! If they are not cured in 5 turns, they will become a baby...

These rooms are generally one way.

Bathroom: A bathroom. As for some reason, adults do not need to use the restroom in the daycare, the room is somewhat useless.... but wait.... this IS a source of water... Water works like food. In the Playroom and Bathrooms, water can be gotten. Without water, adults will turn into babies, and the babies will get dirty diapers, using the same mechanic as food. It is also needed for some crafting.

Ruins: For some strange reason, a room from the basement that collapsed shifted up here... I bet you could mine the walls for ores. Ores can be used for smithing at a forge, and made into weapons, armor, and tools.

Forge: Alright, why the HECK is there a forge in a daycare?!? Sprout must get really bored... anyways, this is the Crafting room for Smithing.

Sewing Room: A nice little room with some sewing machines. This is the Crafting room for Tailoring.

Pantry: A small room with some food in it. Group members who haven't eaten eat, those who have save it. Only works once per day.

Hall of Kittens: Now THIS is strange... for some reason, theres a hallway with many pictures of kittens lining the walls. This is a rare room. Rare rooms are odd rooms of the daycare that don't show up very often... they hold a chest in them that has a Magical Item in it. All Rare Rooms are dead ends.

Dead End: An old room with creaky floors and lots of dust. Might as well turn back. Dead Ends are pretty much useless, although there is a chance that someone will fall through the rotted floor, be sucked into the house, and turned into a baby. A slim chance, mind you.

Death Trap: Alright, i'm sure Sprout is insane now... he put a DEATHTRAP in a DAYCARE?!?... When you open the door to this 'dead end', the adult who opened it will get sucked into it! Unless he or she can solve the riddle or puzzle inside, the room will implode, and the adult will turn into a baby... After they escape or are turned into a baby, the door is sealed.

Alchemists's Lab: This room is filled with all manner of beakers and chemicals. This is the Crafting Station for Alchemy.

Post subject: Turn Layout
A Turn is classified either as:

After everyone in a combat has moved.
or
After every minute.
or
After every room.

If one of these happens, a turn is taken.

Turns are an important part of the game. A large amount of systems use the turn system. For example, a baby will... go in their diaper every 10 to 30 turns. After that, if they are not changed in 2 to 15 turns, the person with the lowest stamina is knocked out, and turned into a baby in 3 turns.

So you must be very careful about turns. If you delay too long, you might end up with a diaper yourself...

Post subject: The Class System
There are many classes that guests can have. They are divided into 'adult classes' and the Baby Class.

Adult Classes: Adult Classes are the classes that adults have. It pretty much just affects their attack style and choice of weapons.

Baby Class: The baby class. A very intriguging class, and definatly the most common. There are many things that can get an adult turned into a baby. Defeat in combat, another baby's diaper, running out of food, it is of utmost importance that you try to not get turned into a baby! Why? Well, for one, your restricted from combat. Secondly, you have to wear a diaper. I mean, like, eww. In addition, the more babies, the harder it is for the remaining adults to keep themselves aged. However, it is also possible to start as a baby. While the same restrictions apply, you also get some special bonuses. Those, however, you must find out on your own. While in baby form, you are expected to RP as a baby. Remember: Day is the time to just do a normal RP, night is adventuring time. If you ARE turned into a baby, you will have to stay that way until either,

A: You are given a potion of curse removal.

B: You are blessed by a Stone of Purification.

The Potions of Curse Removal are extremely hard to make, and the ingredients are tricky to find.

Stones of Purification are somewhat uncommon, but they get incredibly rare once you go into the deeper levels of the Daycare. They are a type of room, and can only be used once.

There is also a Potion of the Diaper, and Diaper Stones that can turn you INTO a baby, but with the benifits as if you had started as one. However, if you do this, it is PERMANENT. Well... almost permanent. There is ONE way, but it is hidden, rare, and very powerful. Also note that people who start as babies can't turn into adults the normal ways, they must find this.. thing as well.

Post subject: Shadow Creatures
Creatures of the Shadow, these beasts have started appearing in the daycare, with one intent: to capture the babies, turn adults into babies and capture them too, and just cause chaos in general.

There are many types of Shadow Beasts. As they are discovered, they will be logged here.

Post subject: Crafting
Interestingly, the Daycare has many areas where adults can craft better equipment, food, and, uh diapers.

Sewing Machine: Tailoring

Tailoring is the art of making robes and diapers.

Robes:

Linen Robes: Basic robes. Not very powerful.

Burlap Robes: Itchy robes. SCRRRRATTTCH!

Silk Robes: Comfy robes....

Manacloth Robes: Robes made from magical cloth.

Steelweave Robes: Robes enchanted to be as strong as steel. Also very durable.

Robes are light armor. They are worn by all classes as normal clothing to keep comfortable, and also as battle armor by some.

Diapers:

Diapers. The only thing babies can equip, and they must have one at all times. (they can't be changed if your out of diapers). More powerful diapers keep the stench out longer, and they feel more comfortable. The more comfortable babies are, the less often they... make a stinky.

Linen Diaper: Well, the flimsy linen diapers are itchy, and don't keep the stench out long. In 2 turns, someones gonna be knocked out. Luckily, though, they can be revived at a Medical Bay, like most turn based injuries. The itchy and abrasive material irritates baby bottoms, and makes them poo every 10 turns.

Burlap Diapers: Well... still not very comfortable, but much more strengthened. Stinkies come every 10 turns, and it takes 4 turns to be knocked out.

Silk Diapers: FINNALLY, something not itchy. These are the standard diapers you will use once you unlock Sprout's room. It takes 15 turns to poo and 7 to be knocked out.

Manacloth: Woohoo? Magical diapers? Luckily, they are enchanted, so they keep most stench away with magical air freshener. Still, its very weak magic, so its not by much. 20 turns to poo, 10 to be knocked out. This diaper is rare.

Malweave: This strange cloth is only found in the Forest of Malfurion. Due to the odd properties of the forest, it falls apart if anything but a diaper is made from it. However, its a very good diaper. it takes a whopping 30 turns for a baby to poo, and it keeps the stench out for 15. On the flipside, however, it is extremly rare. The chances of finding it are slim to none.

Robes and Diapers can also be enchanted with certain items...

Enchanted Robes give combat stats to adults, Enchanted Diapers can only be worn by volunteer babies, (from a Diaper Stone or started the game as one) and give the diapers longer lastability (is that a word?), and with elemental enchantments, some special baby abilites that can be used in combat.

The Forge: Smithing

While we still don't know why there are forges in a daycare, they are useful for making weapons, armor, and tools.

Weapons: There are 6 types of weapons:

Short Sword: Fast, but weakish.

Long Sword: Fast, and powerful, but tricky to make.

Axe: Slow, Powerful.

Dagger: Very Fast, Very Weak.

Staff: Slow, Weak, but amplifies Spell Power.

Mace: Slow, Medium Damage.

Certain classes do better with certain weapons.

Metals: Better Metals make better weapons and armor!

Bronze: Made from Copper and Tin, very basic and weak.

Iron: Somewhat weak, but very common.

Steel: The most common metal you will use after Sprout's Room. Made from Coal and Iron.

Manaore: Magical ore that increases its strength.

Elemental Ore: Coming in 6 types, this kind of ore has the strength of Manaore, but with the added bonus of some extra elemental damage.

Tools:

Tools are used for many tasks, mainly by engineers.

Wrench: An engineers main weapon. Without one, they're less useful then a baby... you HAVE a dagger... c'mon..... its just ONE more diaper...

Portable Changing Station/Crafting Station: A one time use special, portable station that can be used to change all the babies diapers, or make one item, but only ONCE! Also, they are hard to make.

Alchemists Lab: Alchemy

Alchemy is used to make potions and.. well, potions.

Potions are kinda cloudy right now, you'll need to find a recipie book in Sprout's room before you can make them...
